It’s hard to believe with all of the rain we’ve been having that there were some beautiful days over the past few weeks. Mary and Andy just happened to pick one of those days for their wedding day. It was sunny and pleasant all day.
We started out the day at the Wyndham Cleveland at Playhouse Square, where Mary and her bridesmaids were getting ready for the day’s events. Once Mary and the ladies were all ready, we headed over to the Union Club to get some photos of the guys getting ready. After the guys were ready, we were off to historic St. Paul Shrine in Cleveland’s near east side for their wedding ceremony.
After the vows and formal photos were done, we made the quick trek to The Mall in front of the Key Building and then to E. 4th St. for some fun and lively bridal party photos and some gorgeous portraits of Mary and Andy. Every time I posed Mary and Andy, it seemed as though they forgot everyone else was there and just got lost in each other, which made for some really great photos.
Once the photos were done we headed back to the Union Club where Andy’s brother, Will, and Mary’s sister, Caitlin, gave some of the funniest toasts I’ve ever heard. These two held nothing back, as evidenced by Mary and Andy’s reactions. When everyone was done with dinner, Billy J got the party started and kept it going late into the night. Following some lively dancing, we capped off the night with a few photos by the Playhouse Square Chandelier.
It was truly an honor to be asked to capture such a joyous event. Congratulations Mary and Andy! Here are a few of my favorite images from your wedding day.
