Lori and Jake decided to split their wedding into two days. Their ceremony was held on a special date, with just a few family and friends in attendance at Nuevo Modern Mexican & Tequila Bar on the shore of Lake Erie. Later that week, the couple donned their wedding attire once more to celebrate with a larger group of friends and family at Club Walden in Aurora, Ohio.
Alex and Austin tied the knot in Ashtabula, Ohio where they both grew up. They decided that their anniversary and the anniversary of the date Austin proposed to Alex would be a great date to get married, and I couldn’t agree more. I love when couples incorporate dates or other items that mean something to them into their wedding day. I think it makes it that much more meaningful.
We met up with Kasey and Bailey at Kasey’s parents’ house for a few first looks and some candid family photos. Once the first looks were all had, we headed downtown to start the bridal and bridal party portraits. We started at the Cleveland Public Library, which has a beautiful little courtyard with some amazing light and a fun little reflecting pool. After the group photos were done, we moved on to The Mall near the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower and the Fountain of Eternal Life, and then up Mall C overlooking the Great Lakes Science Center, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the home of the Cleveland Browns, First Energy Stadium. There were so many great spots for photos of our happy couple. I was thankful that Kasey and Bailey blocked off so much time for photos. We were able to take our time and get some fun and relaxed portraits of the couple.
