After several weekends in a row of unseasonably warm weather here in northeast Ohio, I met up with Emma and Mike for their engagement session on one of the coldest days of 2017. We were seriously freezing our butts off, especially with the wind coming off of the lake at Edgewater Park. We all toughed it out, though, even Ulyssa, who appreciated the occasional treat for sitting still and looking at the camera.
Once we could no longer feel our fingers and toes, we decided to head over to the West Side Market, where it was just a bit warmer than on the lakefront. We had a great time wandering the market and watching people’s reactions to a photo session happening right in the middle of everything.
I had so much fun photographing Emma and Mike, despite the cold. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in just a few short months.
