Katie and Mike were married on probably the rainiest Saturday we’ve had so far this wedding season here in Northeast Ohio. When I arrived at Katie’s parents’ house, the ladies were already well into their preparation. I could tell Katie was a little nervous, but she kept her cool, even when part of the dress didn’t cooperate and a quick sewing operation was performed. Once everyone was dressed and ready, we headed to St. Bede’s Church in Mentor to meet up with Mike and the guys.
After a beautiful ceremony, we left Mentor, where it was pouring rain, and headed downtown for a quick photo session on the rooftop bar at The Metropolitan at the 9, aptly named the Azure Sun Lounge. There was no sun to be seen that day. We were, however, graced with a timely break in the rain, which we took full advantage of to get some great cityscape backdrops.
It was an absolute pleasure to work alongside of Andrea from Photos by Andrea and Paul of Left Of Center Photography throughout this dreary yet beautiful day. I also want to thank my friend and colleague, Nate Raddell for all of his help capturing these special moments for such a wonderful couple.
Congrats Katie and Mike! Here are a few of my favorite moments from your day.
