Megan and Jay were married last month at the Cleveland Grays Armory Museum and it could not have been more perfect. The Decor was gorgeous, the weather cooperated, the day was full of laughter and love.
After a few quick preparation photos, Megan and Jay opted to do a first look and see each other before the ceremony. This is by far one of my favorite moments of any wedding day. For the bride and groom to share that moment alone, there really is not any better opportunity to capture the emotion of the day in one small moment.
After the first look, we gathered up the bridal party and made the short walk to the Erie Street Cemetery and Playhouse Square – where we found ourselves in the middle of the Cleveland Witches Ride – for some stunning portraits and fun bridal party photos. Megan and Jay and their friends were great to work with, and more than happy to do whatever I asked, while also adding their own personality to the photos. We had a lot of fun, and I even pulled out the old Nikon F3 35mm camera for a few shots.
Once the photos were done, friends and family gathered for a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony officiated by the Groom’s sister, Andrea. After the ceremony guests were treated to a fabulous meal by Taste of Excellence, and Magical Sound Entertainment kept the party going well into the night. I love when the bride and groom stay on the dance floor throughout the night, and Megan and Jay did just that. They even brought out a dancing Jack Skellington doll, which was fitting with the date’s proximity to Halloween.
