Hi! I'm Kevin

I am so glad that you found my online home. Whether you’re newly engaged and searching for the perfect wedding photographer, looking to update your family photos, or need some new headshots for that new job, I am here to help.

I began my journey as a photographer over 15 years ago, working with and learning from several talented photographers here in Northeast Ohio. In 2007, as I was considering starting my own business, my wife and I were blessed with our triplets, Julianna, Elisha, and Kevin Jr. (KJ). My career plans were put on hold for a bit and I became a stay-at-home dad while still working with other photographers in the area.

Despite all of the challenges, the stay-at-home dad years were some of my best years yet. Being outnumbered from the start, Gretchen and I became experts at playing zone defense :). Our house went through a transformation each time the triplets entered a new stage. We had baby gates Everywhere!! I wouldn’t trade those years for anything. Being there for all of those little milestones were some of the best experiences of my life.

In 2013, when Juli, Elisha, and KJ were finally in school full-time, I was able to devote more time to my craft, and officially opened Kevin Chuey Photography. Since then I have been trusted by couples from many different cultures and backgrounds to capture almost 200 weddings. You would think by now I’d be worn out by weddings, but the truth is, I enjoy each and every moment. From the bride getting into the perfect dress or the groom getting his tie and pocket square just right, the first kiss, the father-daughter and mother-son dances, to the last dance of the night, and every moment in between. Each of those little moments is special and I truly enjoy capturing every one of them.

When I am not working, you can find me on a local baseball or softball field, coaching Kevin or Juli and Elisha’s teams, or at Progressive Field cheering on our Guardians. (Can you tell I enjoy baseball?) I also enjoy cheering on our Browns, Cavs, and Lake Erie Monsters. Other times you’ll find me working on our nearly century-home, gardening, reading, and playing with the latest tech gadgets.
